A resource whore refers to a game that requires a very high end machine to run and even then if you attempt to run any other application you will probably be severely slowed down.

Everquest II has amazing graphics but it is such a resource whore.

Resource douche 

A legitamate SOB, who drains all of the potential hilarity, romance, deepness, etc. out of a line, or joke by informing everyone around, the phrase that was stated was stolen from such-and-such movie, show, commercial, etc.

an inconsiderate that kills the mood by leaking the reference point of something someone has said

dude 1: Hey! My TOMS finally came in!!
Dude 2: ALGEBRAIC!!!!
Dude 3: You got that from adventure time!
Dude 2: wow, way to be a resource douche.

Chick: Asdgdhdhf!!!! I need more lipstick!!
dude: you're amazing, just the way you are.
Chick: That's a line from a Bruno Mars song!!

Resource funneling 

A form of cheating in online strategy games stemming off of multi-accounting where you send all your starting resources to your main account then abandon the secondary account.

"This guy is obviously resource funneling, he has maxed buildings on day 2"

Resource Digger 

Like a gold digger, but not in the game for wealth- simply food, shelter, and a warm body.

Typically college-aged with a minimum wage job and daddy issues. Jumps from man to man like a leech.

Person 1: "He's not hot or rich, why is a girl like that with him?"
Person 2: "Oh she's just being a resource digger until she graduates."

resource pool 

"Pool" of human resources in an IT company, waiting to go on a project. Most big companies maintain a group of skilled programmers to be put on the job when a project comes up. Programmers in an organisation in between jobs.

Though Santosh enjoyed programming, sometimes he loved waiting in the resource pool since it gave him loads of free time to fool around on the net.
