Resting Bitch Face 

An expression that is held by someone, typically (but by no means always) a woman. It is characterized by having a very slight scowl in the eyebrows, lips drawn in (sometimes occurred by sucking in the bottom lip), a pronounced tilt of the head, and a slight squinting of the eyes that would convey an expression of slight pain is discomfort. When performed properly, the sufferer should look to be perpetually constipated, and yet for some reason, utterly satisfied with being so. "Smug" is a common way to describe someone with a resting bitch face.

This expression is pronounced in its commonality, as in, it's the most common expression upon the sufferer's face. It is typically a signifier of someone who is arrogant, condescending, obnoxious or just generally bitchy. Commonly seen by journalists or other people commonly on TV.

I don't know how you can watch that show, the anchor has a massive resting bitch face. You'd think the higher ups would tell her to fix that.

Resting gif-face 

The loop your face makes when you’re listening but not very interested, I.E., An eye roll, nod, deep sigh, or nom-sincere smile. Sometimes unintentional, but can be done deliberately for effect.

Usually under two seconds long, and usually sarcastic or born out of sheer boredom and a desire to be polite when you’d rather be anywhere else. Also used as profile pictures on popular internet sites.

(At a dinner party, trying to tell a story)

*The person adjacent to you, nodding and smiling over and over again*
“I was trying to tell you about this, but you’re just using a resting gif-face with me”

Alternatively, “Yeah, I don’t really care about their story, so I blanked and used my resting gif-face.

Or, “Man I rewatched that video I was in, I totally had a resting gif-face”

resting fluff face

The equivalent of ‘resting bitch face’ for an animal. Often seen on cats when it looks like they are angry, irritated, or about to attack you, but they’re actually relaxed and it’s just their face.

“Omg your cat is so angry, I’m scared it will attack me”

“Nah they’re all good, it’s just their resting fluff face, they are super friendly really!”
