1) A Bavarian (South German) term referring to a clumsy peasant
2) A follower of the Nationalsozialis party (Nasos). The party took control of Germany and led it through the Second World War. Enemies of the party called them Nazis as a form of insult. When the Allies took notice, they assumed Nazi was the proper name and started calling them that.
