This was one of the earliest operating systems for Personal Computers.

A variant of CP/M which was designed by Digital Research for use with the Intel 8086 microprocessor and compatible with the later Intel 8088. It followed CP/M as IBM's preferred operating system for the IBM PC.

However, it faded out of use primarily because Digital Research and IBM could not agree on contract licensing and fees. IBM then took up with Bill Gates and Microsoft to use MS-DOS.

This was what set in motion Microsoft as an operating system provider and was ultimately the demise of compact and manageable operating systems for Personal Computers until Microsoft's grasp on them was loosened somewhat. So, ultimately, part of the blame can be laid at the feet of IBM.
That Sirius steams on CP/M-86 but still won't manage a 20mb hard disk without partitioning. Bummer.

A graphing calculator ranking between the ti-83 and the ti-89. It can solve first degree equations, find zeros of polynomials, find solutions sets to simultaneous equations, and a lot of other spiffy things. Unlike the ti-89, however, it doesn't have a Computer Algebra System (CAS) and can't graph in three dimensions.
While my teacher thinks that I am doing math, I am actually playing games on my TI-86.

Classic & 86

This is the group of people who performed one of the greatest songs ever, "Ridin'". "Ridin'" could be heard on the ending credits of "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle". Classic & 86 are widely unknown and no one seems to know anything about them. It some ways the group is considered a myth.

guy 2- "Classic & 86"

Classic & 86

The mistaken name people often give to the group that did the song "Ridin" for the ending credits of "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle". The song is actually made by Miss Eighty 6, AKA Sarai Marie Howard, and Classic, AKA Alphonso Williams. This is not their first collaboration, they are also known for making the song "Now You Know" in the Fantastic Four Movie Soundtrack.

I have no clue why this misconception has never been corrected, and even less knowledge of why this song isn't more popular.
