Oh man. I remember years ago when TED conferences were filled with genuinely inspiring, fascinating and ground-breaking presentations. That recent TEDx conference was just a pseudo-intellectualcircle jerk.
When a group’s discussion of concepts and ideas start to overwhelm the thought process that you ultimately end up just standing around stroking the other people's egos and accomplishing nothing.
We discussed rubrics, a list of criteria for grading student’s work, until we discussed ourselves into an academiccircle jerk.
The act of constantly sharing the same opinion in a forum full of people who are obviously known to have the same opinion as yours, therefor granting you free upvotes to said opinion, while gathering downvotes to anyone that opposes you on the matter

Any sort of 9Gag picture that goes against consoles/Frozen/Christianity
Nearly any website that governs itself through up and downvotes, and inevitably estabilishes "approved" opinions, which leads to the formation of a circle jerk
The pillar of Jamaican cuisine. While the chicken is prepared in traditional fashion with a dry rub, natives gather round the pit and masterbate, battering the chicken with jizz and at times, spooging on each other. The natives then massage in the wet rub, creating a true delicacy.
Tourist: What is today's special?
Jamaican: Truss mi maan, you waan dat circle jerk chicken made wit da chi-chi juices!
Tourist: Sounds delicious, I'll order that!
