Lasaron
Lasaron is the Norwegian equivalent to a hobo.
It derives from the biblical name Lazarus and is commonly used as a name for drifters.
A more modern word of "lasaron" is "lassis".
"Lasaron" is not to be confused with "boms" (bum).
A "boms" (bum) is ashamed of who he is going around begging for money for drugs and/or alcohol.
A "lasaron" (hobo) doesn't care what people think of him/her and have somewhat pride in their lifestyle as wanderers and consider themselves "free spirits" not schakled to enslavement like the rest of the herd.

"Han fyren der en skikkelig lasaron, men han er kul som faen."
(That guy is a true lasaron but He's cool as fuck!"
"Pell deg vekk, din skitne lasaron!"
(Get the hell out of here, You dirty lasaron!)
