G Gundam

An anime that seems controversial amongst Gundam fans.

It deviates from the usual war type shows within the Gundam saga. this show instead, focuses on more of a martial arts-type tournament taking place in the year FC 60.

The Gundams in this show, rather than being controlled in a cockpit like that of a plane, where the pilot is seated, the fighter uses a mobile trace suit to have the gundam mimic its motions.

This show also is a little bit more like stereotypical anime with the sweatdrops and anime falls that I have failed to see in other gundam shows.

However it continues to have the wide diversity of characters. Whether its good or not? I'll leave that up to you

G Gundam was the predecesor of Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED and any other Alternative Universe Gundam Shows.

Goku

A character, originating as Sun Wukong from the chinese legend Journey to the West, Son Goku has been adopted into two anime that I know of so far: the Dragon Ball saga (Which I loathe beyond all belief) and Gensoumaden Saiyuki (which I love).

Saiyuki's Goku could kick DB/DBZ/DBGT's Goku's ass. Let's see mister saiyin defeat a war god.

Pretear

A seriously neglected and very good anime. It is a magical girl show, based on snow white with a serious twist. The show, however, isn't your basic magical girl anime with basic episodes: same old stuff, transformation, fight, end. It's deep emotionally and comically, many people have compared it to Revloutionary Girl Utena. However, lasting only 13 episodes it is too short and too new to get alot of recognition.

The seven dwarfs have become bishounen in this awesome twist of two classical fairy tales

An anime surrounding a girl who goes to a private school to find the "prince" who saved her life as a child and ends up getting mixed up in duels for the power to revolutionize the world.

Very common in shoujo ai and yuri circles for the pairing UtenaxAnthy

I want a replica of the Sword of Dios from Utena!
