Tien's full name, a pupil of Master Shen, the crane hermit. He starts off as a bad guy but begins to become good after Master Roshi's lecture, during his fight with Jackie Chun (Roshi in disguise). He is chiaotzu's best friend. He was taught how to fight by Mercenary Tao. He refers to Master Roshi as Master, after defeating Tao, and abandoning his loyalty to Master Shen. Chiaotzu follows suit and also becomes good.
Tien Shinhan is arguably the strongest full blooded human on Earth in Dragon Ball Z. While it has been shown that he is stronger than Yamcha, it has never been further explained who is the strongest out of Tien and Krillin after Tien receives King Kai's training and Krillin receives the Namek Elder's unlock potential boost.
In the English Dub, Tien is the only character, aside from Goku (Son), and Bulma's (Brief) family, to have an official last name stated.

Get the exiledmug. The resulting fusion between Goku and Vegeta. He is the most powerful Z Fighter, next to Vegito, who would be more powerful than him in their regular and super saiyan states, due to the different methods of fusion, his form also only lasts for 30 minutes, and only 10 minutes while in Super saiyan 4.
In Fusion Reborn, Gogeta is not seen as cocky whatsoever when compared to his Super Saiyan 4 form, and eliminates his enemy quickly. As a Super Saiyan 4 however, he acts somewhat similarly to his Potara counterpart Vegito as they both toy around with their respective opponent in order to achieve their true goal.
He is also the only fusion to be dead, as both Goku and Vegeta were deceased when they fused and fought Janemba.

Get the King Coldmug. From the dragonball series, during the Buu sagas, it is revealed that Grand Supreme Kai (Dai Kaioshin) was the ruler of the entire universe before being absorbed by Majin Buu. By being absorbed, the Kais good influence weakened Buu rather than strengthening him, as he turned into a childish form, as Goku described it, he was like "A naughty child who didn't know any better".
He gave his life for the East Supreme Kai, who would be later known as simply Supreme Kai, as there were no other supreme Kais after Buu's assault on the Kai planet. Although the title of Grand Supreme Kai was never actually given to West Supreme Kai, due to the other Supreme Kais deaths, he assumed Grand Supreme Kais' job of overseeing the entire universe, and was henceforth referred to only as THE Supreme Kai.

Get the Grand Supreme Kaimug. From the dragonball series, he is a martial arts master and teacher, having only two pupils (The Ox-king, and Grandfather Gohan) before Goku and Krillin. His master is Mutaito, a martial arts master that once saved the world from King Piccolo by sealing him in an electric jar using the Evil Containment Wave (Mafuba in Japanese). He is also referred to as The Turtle Hermit.
