"Don't Text Back"
Added to the end of a text message when you don't want the other person to respond.
Usually used when one only has a certain number of text messages per month, and doesn't want to waste one by having somebody give an obvious response to the initial text.

Text Message: "Hey. The game you asked about starts at 7:15. DTB"

throwing salt 

intentionally degrading somebody.

got its name because of the stinging feeling one gets if somebody where to put salt on an open wound. the effects of "throwing salt" at a person are usually the same, but the stinging is on an emotional level.

Guy 1: "You guys are so weak. Yeah you won the game, but only because the other team blows."

Guy 2: "Man, why you always throwing salt?"

bummer times 

an understanding, but half-hearted consolation given to those experiencing difficult times in their lives. Is used when one wishes to express the feeling that there is no point in moping around anymore and that it is time to move on,but it still conveys the message that recipient's pain is understood.

Person A: "Why you looking so depressed dude?"

Person B: "My girl just broke up with me"

Person A: "Bummer times man. Guess it just wasn't meant to be."
