Descriptive Noun/Adjective. Shorthand for emotionally detached/cold. Someone who fears or avoids emotional entanglement , not indifferent or hostile, but uncomfortable with strong feelings and emotionally charged situations.

Descriptive Noun. Someone with hostile or negative empathy. Not only lacking concern for others but resenting or enjoying their suffering.

Sympath 

Descriptive Noun. Shorthand for sympathetic person. Someone who can feel for someone else's emotions, but not overwhelmingly so like a true empath would and show compassion but still keeps healthy boundaries.

He’ll always help you move or listen to your breakup story, but he doesn’t get drained by it. He’s a sympath.

Descriptive Noun. Shorthand for balanced empathy. Someone who understands and cares about others' emotions but isn't overwhelmed or self-sacrificing.

I held onto the lost money for a while to see if someone would claim it. I’m a bipath, I guess.
