The definition of a film noir is very argueable and loose. Some state film noir as a time period in which the film was made. others suggest it as a style of film may be characterized by dark imagery, showing the end at the beginning of the film, shadows, corruption, night life, violence, pessimism, detective films, voice over narration by the character, inevitable bad endings, a film strong on thought. film noir may cross many genres such as action, sci-fi, drama, suspense, thriller, action, and even romantic comedy. One of the first films to be defined as a film noir is The Maltese Falcon and one of the defining films is double indemnity.

Get the illustratormug. Someone who thinks they are better than everyone because they shop walmart, drink starbucks, shop the mall and dress american eagle and go to church. They think they are individuals because they condemn those that look a little different or hipster. They are just as judgemental and rude as those they hate. all the young kids think they're better than their peers. They watch stupid summer block busters and condemn those that like things different. their weird tweaks and hidden inconfidence is clearly seen. they listen to pop rock radio hits and expects everyone to be like them. anything too different is just trying too hard. psuedo-conformist are just as pretentious and passive aggressive as their counter part. they love to rant

Get the juno pervmug. an act of pushing one self to fit in somewhere to where it becomes obviously unnatural. it feels like people are trying hardest when they start to change themselves. sometimes people seem like they're trying too hard to fit into a certain crowd (e.g. punk, hip hop, emo, mall shopper, football jock, high school prep, pretentious hipster, republican, etc) but they're really not. Most people will criticize based on speculation of noticeable differences such as clothing style and skin color or interest. at first everyone tries too hard, then eventually they just naturally fit in. some people try too hard to act like they're not trying too hard. people who try the hardest are the ones who criticizes others for trying too hard. it states that they're not trying hard by projecting on to others. Others seem like they're trying too hard when they don't fit into the mainstream. but sometimes people try too hard to fit into the mainstream also. this term could be pushed either way or at anybody and could be justified from any perspective. just be yourself, you'll be criticized no matter what. whatever being yourself means.

Get the shit swipemug. I once had a guy do a drive by insult on me as i was walking my dogs. he called me a fagot ass motherfucker. i remembered his face and car. i ran into him accidentally when he was walking out of a store months later. i pissed into a bottle and splashed it all over the interior of his car. i also dumped salt and water into the gas tank of another different drive by insult. drive by insults are for passive aggressive trash who think they have the last laugh. I'm still laughing now, motherfucker!
drive by insults may be funny for the passive driver, but some people like myself have taken REAL ACTION for vengeance. they don't know when it's coming or how. justice
