A term used in, "The Warriors" movie from 1979 where a gang goes from one district to another, usually having to fight any of the other gangs they may come across for stepping into their protected territory.

Orphan Gang leader: "Maybe you oughta show me your invitation ?"
Warrior Member: "How do you figure ?"
Orphan Gang leader: "Well, you come armying down here, invading our territory."

carbon

"Carbon" is used here as a description. It means something that is absolutely 100% exact of another. Not similar, not related, not sort of like, neat a cheap copy but absolutely the same. Down to the carbon molecules. A carbon copy if you will.

"Henna, do you remember that key you gave me the other day to access the locked cabinet in Mr. Senner's office ?"
"Yeah, I do."
"Opening it I found a copy of the key sitting on the bottom. Carbon."
"That's strange. There's only supposed to be one. What good does it do in there ?"

yntmo

"yntmo" is an acronym for, "You need to move on." It is something you tell someone when they are trying to get past a difficult part of their life, like the loss of a loved one or pet. It could be something tragic that has happened in their life and they just can't seem to shake the negative feelings of it.

But you need to - to get on with your life: accept the past, deal with the present, and prepare for the future.

"Cassie, why didn't you go to Steve's party last night ? It was awesome !"

speakish

Speakish is where someone has obviously uses a voice-to-text method to write out something that is printed or on the internet because its grammar is incorrect or badly put together using a homophone. Examples are "there" "they're" and "their." "Bear" and "bear." "Brake" and "break." Also "gift" and "gif." Making a real difference in communication quality.

"James, did you see this ad for new cars ? That is totally within my price range !"
"I don't know, Brad. look at the ad. It says, 'Our cars are hot. Get them while there still here.' That's speakish. Not a sign of quality advertising I believe and reflects badly on the company itself."

An unvax is any individual who has voluntarily decided not to get a Covid shot. It is short for, "Unvaccinated."

"Margie said she's going to have a weekend party with a lot of friends from college, are you going ?"
"Probably not. There might be a be a lot of unvax there. Can't risk it."

Anyone who is skilled in using a videocamera or regular camera to professionally record an event. Whether it's for a party, a legal function, or just life in general. It's basically short for, "Camera person."

"Are you going to make it to Beth's birthday party ?"
"I sure am. I'm bringing Roger too. He's the best cammer."

cain't

"Cain't" is not the same as "can't." "Can't" as you know is a contraction for "cannot." Adding the "i" means that whatever cannot be done is WANTING to be done but is impossible to do so. It "ain't possible." and this is usually due to the circumstances surrounding it.

"Now, Milton. I just cain't get up in that water tower without the ladder."
"You're saying you don't know who took it, then ?"
"Exactly."
