A Hoedad is a tool used to plant trees. The Hoedads Cooperative was a unique social and political workforce whose members consciously or unconsciously partook in a restoration and healing of the northwest timber industry that too often was (and still is) motivated by greed instead of sustainable and sound practices.

When I was a hoedad my hands had thick callouses.

Chindia

Contraction of the proper nouns China and India. Handy, shorthand way to reference both countries at once. These two countries are often mentioned in the same sentence because they both have emerging economies, and many jobs are outsourced to them. Also the adjective "Chindian."

Information technology (IT) outsourcing to Chindia grew at an annual rate of 17% last month.

Chindian call centers now handle 60% of all customer assistance calls worldwide.

Beer Badger

A most evil creature who would run 30 miles to ambush you on your way home from the local to rub your head in the dirt, rob you of all your money and your entire memory of the night's events.

I felt fine in The Swan and Three but woke up with a banging headache and no idea of how i got home!
