Derived from the concept of a lumber-mill worker’s (sawyer’s) hand often missing a finger and so less able to hold as much as a whole hand.

Being moody and obnoxious, Scott had only a sawyer's handful of friends.

Laze Cadet

One who sits around or pursues any task with inadequate enthusiasm. Different from "couch potato" in that s/he will do things, but only very slowly.

Although Hallie goes to the gym, she's basically a laze cadet, doing the treadmill for only seven minutes.

Conspirabators

People who seem to be aroused by promoting conspiracy theories about controversial public events. They are often found on obscure internet forums, or in bars or parties, where they spew implausible scenaria explaining historical events. The data that they provide is usually cherry-picked or flawed, and they are adamant about the veracity of their cause. Examples include, 9/11, the JFK assassination, Obama birthers, vaccination autism warners, etc.

I saw a guy on a date, and all I heard from him was about how the World Trade Center was brought down by explosives. I couldn't tell if the girl was impressed. I almost went over to him to bitch-slap him. I wish I did. He was just one of those conspirabators.

French queue

A line of people who don't follow rules of typical line-courtesy found elsewhere. An anarchic assembling for entrance at a door or gate. This is a normal behavior in France. The word pairing is an ironic construction, because it is really the opposite of a queue.

The skyway door opened and the passengers converged in an impatient French queue, shuffling slowly forward.
