Bloody halo

Often used to express that a police officer or federal agent is very dangerous and violent . To have a bloody halo connotes that the "good guy" is more likely than most to resort to violence, and that the agent is an extremely brutal opponent.

An annoying irony. From the phrase "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Mostly used to refer to something sought after only to be found it's useless.
