Godwin's Law states that "the longer a heated Internet discussion goes on for, the more likely it is that someone will compare their opponent(s) to Hitler, the Nazis, or Nazi Germany in general."
Anyone who invokes Godwin's Law in an argument is said to automatically lose by default, even if it is perfectly reasonable; because if you resort to comparing your opponent to arguably the most evil dictator in the world obviously implies that A) You know you're wrong, B) You've run out of ideas, and C) You're a sore loser and want to make your opponent look bad, even though it does the exact opposite.
The only (incredibly rare) exception is if the person is legitimately comparable to him (for example, if they are massively racist, especially anti-Semitic, for no discernible reason), but even then it usually still has the same result.

A strange coincidence involving various misfortunes involving people who have played the legendary superhero "Superman" in popular media.
The first example of the curse was Kirk Alyn, the very first actor to portray Superman. Shortly afterward, he found himself unable to be associated with anything other than Superman. He later passed away from Alzheimer's Disease.
While there were at least two other examples of the curse, it did not become more apparent until 1995, when Christopher Reeve became completely paralyzed after being forcefully thrown off of a horse and died from cardiac arrest nine years later, aged 52.

Is the Superman Curse real? The world may never know. But one thing's for sure: These two actors are dearly missed.

A debunked myth that started spreading in videos where people put cucumbers behind their cat(s) while they're eating, causing them to jump in fear when they turn around and see it.
Cats Vs. Cucumbers is a common and popular way to scare cats, leading people to believe they are scared of cucumbers because they look like snakes. However, as previously stated, this is a myth; and it couldn't be farther from the truth.
The truth is, the reason they freak out is because they don't expect it to be there, because it wasn't there to begin with. You can put ANYTHING behind a cat when they're not paying attention to you, and it will yield the same result.

The "Prototype" United States Constitution. They were made because America wanted to be the polar opposite of England. They soon realized that was a horrible idea.
The Articles of Confederation made the federal government so neutered and inconsequential that they may as well not have existed. They could not tax, enforce laws (there was no president until 1789), or really do much of anything. The "United States" was more like "The Thirteen Very, Very Divided Independent Countries." England passed the popcorn as America floundered like a fish out of water, before an event known as "Shays' Rebellion" gave everyone a massive reality check.

Avoidant-Restrictive Food Intake Disorder - A largely unknown and extremely misunderstood eating disorder that causes extreme food sensitivities and distress when trying new foods. The most common symptom is a limited (and very poor) diet, which can cause numerous issues. ARFID commonly coexists with autism, itself a common cause of food sensitivities.
ARFID is different from picky eating in that it is not something you grow out of. It is not "immature." People with ARFID long to be able to experience food like a normal person. Unfortunately, virtually no one understands this; as a result, ableism runs rampant with this disorder.
