Emulation

A hardware that permits PCs to mimic gaming console systems for games to be played on. There are many reasons for emulation. Firstly, it is worth investing in emulation to combat against greedy gaming publishers, who want to scam people with micro-transactions, overpriced retro and modern games, DLC, seasonal passes, pre-order bonuses, lack of content, etc. Secondly, gamers pirate games online because they are either poor or games are becoming too expensive in the market, similar to rip-off textbooks that costs about 1000 bucks in American universities and a lot of college students pirate textbooks for free in PDF form to reduce student debt. Thirdly, gaming publishers get careless when they throw away the gaming source code like what they did with the first 3 Crash games and they will only put a handful of retro games on their consoles to prevent gamers from playing any chosen games. To conclude this, emulation makes the gaming world less garbage, to cut down on runaway capitalism, to maintain creativity, and to cut down on corporate slavery.

Without video gaming emulation, retro games would have been lost forever. Gaming discs and cartridges can break down easily over time eventually, so you can't play your favorite Halo: Combat Evolved on the Xbox 360 or Chrono Trigger on the SNES when discs and cartridges freeze constantly. Besides, ROM games online can be downloaded/copied and deleted for unlimited number of times. Even if Nintendo threatened ROM uploaders with lawsuits to shut down a few ROM sites, such as Emuparadise and CoolRoms, there are other ROM sites, scattering everywhere on the internet. As long as the ROM community still lives, there will always be new sites popping up. The ROM community existed for a few decades. Gaming companies will never stop the technological progression of emulation on the internet.

If gaming companies want us to buy their modern games, then they should bring back demos of all games. Moreover, games should be way cheaper as 10-to-20 dollars, depending on the condition of the game. Games shouldn't have any micro-transactions, overpriced retro and modern games, DLC, seasonal passes, pre-order bonuses, lack of content, bugs/glitches, etc. Finally, all retro games that cost about 3 bucks or less, should be in stores to mix together with modern games to draw in more consumers, so it won't be so difficult to find them anymore in stores and there would be less pirating.

Facebook

A hollow social media platform that is used for many very superficial, annoying, and addictive users to communicate on messages, post pictures and post comments about their personal lives numerous times daily that almost nobody doesn't give a crap about and users can face age or sex discrimination to minimize their chances of gaining a real-life job or increase their chances of getting fired from their jobs. To make matters worst, 50 million Facebook accounts were hacked, and were sold to corporate interests in the USA and even Russia to benefit from corrupted capitalism. In effect, multiple users deleted their Facebook permanently, and they are trying to sue and to incarcerate Mark Zuckerberg for violating their private information and fraudulence.

Facebook is going down as the most resented to destroy real-life social lives for everyone who are consuming it. Facebook needs to burn to the ground to restore our humanity within us, and to encourage more people to enjoy the outside world even it is more dangerous where a rapist or gunman is threatening people for dominance and have to urge to slay them out of hatred or greed. In all honesty, every social medias suck.

Baiyue people/Bách Việt people

Groups of hundreds of non-Chinese Yue tribes being native to the Yangtze River, where it is south of the Yellow River. About 5,000 years earlier, the Chinese (formerly called Huaxia) arrived from the Tibetan Plateau, and defeated the Hmongs as well as stealing their homeland to establish the Chinese Civilization. Many Hmongs fled southwards to come in contact to form friendships with certain Yue tribes. Thousands of years later until the Qin dynasty period, the Chinese made a lot of conquests to enslave and assimilate the Baiyue people of different Yue kingdoms, especially the Nanyue Kingdom and Minyue Kingdom, into their empire. The Baiyue people who were left behind in South China after being conquered by the Chinese, and the Sinicization was complete during the Song dynasty period, became Sinicized Viets, notably Hokkien, Cantonese, and Hakka, who acted Chinese culturally, many of them forgotten their Baiyue ancestors, and worship only the Chinese. However, ethnic South "Chinese" retain moderate traces of Chinese DNA mostly on their father side, although they preserve high traces of Baiyue DNA mostly on their mother side with small traces of Baiyue DNA on their father side as a result of intermarriages. The Baiyue people who fled to Southeast Asia and Pacific islands became the Vietnamese, Thais, Laotians, Filipinos, etc. Curiously, Vietnam means "South of Yue" to indicate that the Vietnamese came from the Yangtze River before settling in the Red River Delta.

Baiyue people/Bách Việt people, especially Tai-Kadai and Hmong-mien tribes, practiced rice cultivation, shortening hair, head dressing, teeth pulling, fishing, etc. Baiyue people are more or less the Native Americans of East/Southeast Asia.

Social Construct

A theory for people to identify and describe an animal or an object to analyze and to communicate with the world around them. People concentrate on characteristics like height, eye color, and weight to differentiate between animals or objects, instead of race, gender, income status, or nationality. For instance, a house cat is much shorter, has thinner fangs, utters "meow", and he/she is much lighter, unlike a lion who is much taller, has thicker fangs, yells out "roar", and he/she is much heavier, despite a cat and a lion belonging to the same feline family line as distant cousins to each other. Another instance is that a Smart TV doesn't feature any buttons to turn it on/off, to adjust its volume or brightness, to switch channels, its outlets are located behind it, and it is much lighter, compared to the older CRT TV. Universally, everyone and everything is a social construct, but a social construct is not everyone and not everything.

There are social construct words that are not ethnic/racial terms. Examples are "white/Roman" that refers to Europeans and Hispanics/Latinos, "black" that refers to Africans and the Australoid people, "Han Chinese" that refers to Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, Wu, and northern Hans, and "Mongol" that refers to proto-Mongols, Khitans, and Tuyuhun. These socially constructed words are used to unify the masses under nationalism against foreign enemies to take back their freedom and to connect to the world. I find it ironic that some people thinking about themselves as "white" or "black", still fight each other over their own individuality and are still slaves to the original white or black elites, who are tyrannizing them and eliminating their ethnic identities to make them follow a single authoritarian ethnicity in the name of the dollar and dominance. It doesn't matter what category we are placed under. In other words, slavery never ceased; slavery has just evolved.

Khmer Rouge

The Cambodian regime that terrorized Cambodia from 1975 to 1979. In the 1970s, the USA bombed Cambodia to get rid of the communist Vietcong, who was hiding underground, but this caused the Khmer Rouge to mistrust the USA and they overthrew the Western puppet, Lon Nol, since Cambodia tried to remain neutral. The leader of the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, was not a true communist, because he was a Chinese puppet being installed by China and Pol Pot even discarded communism in 1975. In fact, the West also supported the Khmer Rouge and didn't care if Cambodians were suffering. In actuality, Pol Pot was a Khmer nationalist by seeking to resurrect the Khmer Empire, based on his desire to slaughter all Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Cham, and other races, who he saw as threats to the Khmer race, as well as slaughtering Buddhists and the educated, and reclaiming lost territories, including South Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos. Also, Pol Pot wanted to remove Cambodian currency for the Khmer elites to flourish in wealth for themselves. After massacring about 1.7 to 2.2 million Cambodians, Pol Pot made a foolishly grave mistake by stepping onto Vietnam's soil from the west. The Vietcong easily defeated and exiled the Khmer Rouge into Cambodia's forests, where Pol Pot was put under house arrest until he died in 1998. Although, Pol Pot was largely assisted by PLA soldiers of Beijing to ward off against the Vietnamese from the north, but the Khmer Rouge was finished.

Despite the Khmer Rouge era being over, Hun Sen was a Khmer Rouge officer and he was installed as the prime minister of Cambodia in the late 20th century. Hun Sen used to support the Khmer Rouge's heinous actions against the Cambodians until he ceased supporting the Khmer Rouge in favor of siding with the Vietcong and his Cambodian people. However, Hun Sen sides with China now to enrich himself with wealth by allowing China to occupy his military naval base. It seems that money and power are more important than a human life to greedy politicians. Look at the brighter side. At least Cambodia isn't as totalitarian as North Korea or China these days, but we will see how Cambodia will be doing in the future.

Qin Shi Huang

The Chinese tyrant who committed ethnic cleansing or cultural ethnic cleansing to multiple non-Qin tribes, such as the Yue (Viet) tribes, Austroasiatic tribes, and Hmong tribes, to "unify" them under the Qin dynasty. Also, Qin oppressed people to death while building the Great Wall of China to keep out northern invaders, murdered many educated scholars out of paranoia, burned historical books to hide his atrocities, attempted to murder his men if they don’t find the elixir for him to become “immortal”, etc. Joyfully, Qin got poisoned to death, even though it was too late that certain tribes were already absorbed into the Han Chinese rule either forcefully or willingly when the Han dynasty successfully conquered indigenous lands by expanding southwards after 200 B.C.

In 1912, the social constructed/national term "Chinese" was created by Sun Yat-sen. This term derived from the first imperial Chinese emperor, Qin Shi Huang, to unite and control different ethnic groups as only one people, Hans, under one-party rule. Today, the CCP takes this term to somewhat extreme by purging out the true ethnic identities of people, who are not "descendants of the Yellow Emperor". Also, I noticed that the term “Qin” means “Chin” plus the word “dynasty” next to it equals “China”. In other words, Chinese people are referred to as "Qin people", meaning they are still slaves to Qin's legacy. Get it? Qinese people. Many people don't know the word "Chinese" actually is.

Trung Sisters

Two Asian heroines who rose up against the Han dynasty for Nanyue (Vietnam) independence. Following the Han dynasty that enslaved Vietnam in 111 BC and executed Trung Trac's husband for protesting against inflating tax prices in an unfair trial, the enraged Trung Sisters joined the Vietnamese military to ride on elephants with swords to rally up their troops against Han soldiers, who prohibited women from joining the military to remain as house wives due to Confucius' sexist teachings. In spite of the Trung Sisters managing to hold off the Hans for a few years, most of the Trung Sisters' forces were suppressed and they were surrounded by the Hans. In the Vietnamese records, the Trung Sisters jumped off a cliff to commit suicide to avoid capture. In the Chinese records, the Trung Sisters were caught and decapitated by the Hans to keep their heads as souvenirs. After the Trung Sisters' deaths, the Hans executed all of the Trung Sisters' supporters and banned Yue customs in favor of Han customs more strictly than before. Fortunately, in 939 AD, Vietnam regained independence from the collapsed Tang dynasty. Hence, Vietnam recovered its own culture and freedom until the French took over in 1887, but it regained its own nation after the Vietcong won in the Vietnam War of the 20th century.

The will of the Trung Sisters influences the Vietnamese to stay together as a country and to never be slaves to any foreign nations, such as China, Japan, France, or the USA, ever again. Without the Trung Sisters' righteous actions against the Hans, Vietnam would have still been a territory of China today, unlike Asian territories, such as Manchuria, Tibet, Xinjiang (East Turkestan), the Minyue Kingdom (present-day Fujian/Hokkien) and the Nanyue Kingdom (present-day Guangxi and Guangdong, except for present-day North Vietnam). Even in the present, the Vietnamese people pay respects for the Trung Sisters yearly at a Hanoi temple, which is named after the sisters.
