1. China is planning to use military force to handle the problems who are protesting in Hong Kong.
2. Donald Trump is one of the problems faced by the leftist media in the USA.
3. Conservative posters on Urban Dictionary run the risk of being put on "the problems" list and having their previously approved words erased.

Paul Ryan Effect

The accepted reality that promises made by Republican candidates won't come true. Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan claimed that he was a "Solid Conservative", when in fact he was a self-promoting sleazeball that lied for several years without any shame. Ryan promised great things in his campaigns, but the USA suffered severe losses during his tenure in Congress.

During 2024, Trump was out there making big promises about eliminating taxes on tips and Social Security payments. Now we see the Paul Ryan Effect in action. Tips and Social Security payments are still being taxed and there is no fix in sight.
