Anybody in town was able to tolerate her presence there, they just didn't have to. They deserved the happy, peaceful town it once was without her in it (the one they originally came from), back when she lived in her own town, the one she was originally from.

People don't have to learn to live with anything or anyone, from a virus to a human pest. They can keep rejecting it, as accepting it or living with it only allows it to spread like wildfire. They can tell the wildfire go fuck itself if they want to, even if they don't know they can due to pesky tyrants telling them they have to live with certain things.

Fake it til you make it and become a real puppet master is the motto of an astroturf creator that really seems to believe that the turf they claimed as their own is really theirs to claim, offer others, or burn down, cut down, or demolish if they don't get their way or dollar signs.
He/she must have come from a planet where astroturf grows wild, because since he/she got here, he/she put down lots of it.
