Something scientists don't want anybody to question or think of as pseudoscience, they want people to take it seriously as nothing but facts and answers, nothing but nonfiction.
Scientists want to convince people that they and their science are more serious than you and everyone else, and that it's why you should take them seriously rather than question them when really they're among the least socially responsible people, always experimenting with people's lives the way they do with their lab animals.

Scientists
Don't love you it when scientists can't explain something or get puzzled by something, such as their fears about bodies lying in the streets all over Africa, and it turns out the area they thought would be the worst (due to resources) has so far been one of the least affected in the world. Scientists are the same kinds of cowardly people that always tell people be careful, be vigilant, don't let your guard down even if you already are careful, vigilant, and on your toes.
Scientists are a lot like many people involved in a religious or spiritual organization, they love to keep people on their knees and fearful of the next wave, even if so far people haven't been complacent, and the worst scenario never became. These folks have a little too much control of the average person's life, and they're among the least socially responsible people there are, which is why despite everyone else not being confused about anything, scientists are still the ones that are puzzled (yet they are also the ones everyone else seems to listen to/look to for answers these days, kind of like people who look to religious organizations or the government for answers they can come up with on their own).

poseur
Someone that winks to feign joking without the other person knowing that their intention wasn't really to joke.
The poseur told the other person how to join her poseur cult and winked after she said it to indicate she was feigning kidding while looking and sounding serious (but claimed to not care what anybody thought of her even though everyone else did care what people thought of them).

Though they tried to make the extrajudicial hanging look like a suicide, as many people as there were that wanted that guy dead, there wasn't really anybody left to convince othere was no foul play involved, the people they would have tried to convince wanted him dead too.

The female Jim Jones thought of herself as a modern day Parysatis, always putting everyone on trial but herself, trying to dispatch enemies at oppurtune times. It's no wonder the name Parysatis is similar to parasite.

Pawns
The chess piece thought by some to be the most unwitting, though in reality nobody has to keep playing.
Derek Chauvin, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, the guy that killed him, these were all pawns in the female Jim Jones's game, much like the people that stampeded those folks at the concert, and the police stampeded anything that resembles civil rights. Despite calling it social justice, it was never anything more than a bunch of people dying for no reason, if you called it what it really was.
