Unrealistic expectations

Expecting somebody to find and do something impossible.
The teenager commited suicide due to unmet unrealistic exectations by someone in his family. Unrealistic expectations are the kind where somebody is really never going to be good enough, even if they did something impossible, then they went on and did a thousand more impossible things.

Parasite

Someone that benefits from something others do not benefit from.
It would no longer do the dork's family any good to stay together, it would only benefit the dork, the parasite, as with many other things in life. It was about time somebody stood up to her spoiled rotten ass instead of for her.

Double standard

The one where if a dude claimed he got raped people wouldn't hesitate to question or laugh about his suffering/trauma, but if a female claims she got raped, people are expected to cry, march, protest, beat, kill, or a cut somebody's dick off for her, go to war, do something about it is one you don't hear about much from feminists. No wonder they keep so much power that way.
You tend to hear a feminist pick at the double standards that make them look brave, strong, and heroic more than you tend to hear about the ones that make them look cowardly, pathetic, and weak. Males don't have that luxury, despite all their push for what they think equality is. Their view of equality is that males have it made, and it's an unrealistic view.

Confederate statues

A surface object to represent the power struggle that was the Civil War, as all wars are really power struggles.
The Civil War wasn't about Confederate statues any more than it was about slavery, but if certain people are listened to and taken seriously, you would think it was.

Puppet master

People that seem to be brilliant and have a strong ability to govern, when really they're mostly there to stick their tentacles in people's lives and pull their strings.
The vaccine shot he/she got in his/her arm was a lot like somewhere to put a string so the puppet master could make him/her dance.

Common sense

Not putting anything in your body you choose not to is common sense, no matter who tells you that common sense is puttng something in your body they want you to put in your body.
Not getting vaccinated doesn't mean you don't have common sense. If anything, you have a good head on your shoulders if you ppl ick and choose what you do and don't put in your body, even if someone tries to tell you they are let down or disappointed with you, or that you're not doing enough, or that you're not enough. Sometimes it is the other person's common sense that is questionable, even they they seem to have an ability to govern and a brilliant mind (such as a governor or president).

Pretentious

Somebody that pretends to love people they don't really love and support things they don't really hold sacred, from LGBT rights, feminism, mental illness, and other causes to spiritual causes, all to promote an extraverted, sociable image that is not really them. Someone that tells a broad audience of people that don't know them well that they are one way, when really they are another when nobody is around.
The pretentious girl was introverted when nobody was around, but tried to make herself look extroverted and fun when there was an audience of her suckers she was trying to play around, as they were a path to power for her.
