no doot aboot it

A phrase replacing "no doubt about it" used when mocking Canadians. This phrase ironically is used mostly by Canadians mocking the stereotype. This is perhaps the reason why Canadians are mocked; creating a vicious cycle.

Bob: "That there snow sure is high, eh?"
Doug: "No doot aboot it, by. Soon there'll be too much to go ice fishing and seal clubbing, eh?"

Trudeau Salute

Another way to say "giving the finger" or "flipping the bird" which is primarily used in Canada. This is after a famous incident of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, who gave the finger to a group of protesters who were yelling anti-french sayings at him.

Billy - "That guy wouldn't leave me alone, so I gave him the Trudeau salute."

Ballroom Blitz

When the comfortable, always present yet never recognized gap between the male knees is forced shut unwillingly (Usually caused by too many people sitting on a bench, couch, bus, etc...). This causes the vacant area for the testicles to do as they please to become occupied by the thighs. This causes the room for one's balls to become blitzed. A few warning signs which often come before a ballroom blitz are "Is someone sitting here?" or "mind if I take a seat?".

Mike: Hey Tim! How's it going? Mind if I sit by you?
Tim: No disrespect Mike, but I'm not just going to let you blitz my ballroom like that.

Football Announcer: And he's going for the ballroom blitz... And he gets the sack! (thought I'd throw in a pun)

Spanky

A nickname, or rather synonym for the first name "Spencer". Sometimes shortened to Spanks. To be used to anyone going by said name. No exceptions.

Paul: "Oh, hey Spencer."
Spencer: "Don't you mean 'Spanky'?"
Paul: "My bad. Hey Spanky."
