A country protestors and police are trying to take control of from everyone that is not a protestor or a cop. Not much different than the way medical workers, scientists, and government officials have tried to take control of it from the people who elected them (scientists and medical workers dont get elected) by convincing everyone who's not a medical worker, scientist, or government official that they're all heroes.

For every vegan, theres someone who likes a steak sometimes, but theres a difference in having a steak when you haven't had one in a while and you've been wanting one, and gobbling all the meat you can. Ice cream is the same way, toilet paper is the same way. Buying one pack of toilet paper instead of ten is possible, even if it's not easy in a pandemic.
Theres a difference in somebody really thinking they're invincible and immortal, and somebody feeling sure that they've done what they needed to do to keep going, moderation can sometimes be the difference.

Get the Positive thoughts mug.There's no sense in conceding an election before all the votes are counted, it's the same thing as giving up to the other guy. If the other guy wouldn't relinquish power even if he lost, why would you concede to him? There's not much point in having higher ground to stand on if the other guy is still there telling you where and how to stand.
Conceding an election is pointless, the other guy thinks of it as weakness. The other guy is glad he ran against somebody too dumb and weak (obedient/compliant) to get to where they wanted to go, that's how they look at it.
