National Endowment for the Arts

The mega-organization responsible for performing plastic-surgery organ/muscle-augmentation on human models so that they'll look better in paintings and sculptures.
Don't be fooled by --- or envious of --- those "luscious" paintings of curvaceously-buxom ladies and huge-muscled guys --- a lot of the models for those artworks have been "detailed" by the National Endowment for the Arts.

therapy dude

A super-cool male human (usually fairly young --- i.e., between the ages of mid-teens through late 20's --- but can be any age) who either already possesses exceptional tolerance/awareness/understanding/sympathy regarding the more-well-known physical/mental/emotional infirmities and "meltdown triggers" experienced by his fellow humans, or has caringly volunteered to take special training to familiarize himself with such matters; he is therefore qualified --- similar to a therapy dog, cat, horse, bird, or other friendly-natured pet --- to accompany one or more distress-sufferers (usually a similar-aged male, but again, the assistance-receiver can be any age or gender) during particularly stressful everyday tasks and/or errands, and provide nurturing soothing companionship to said sufferers and thus make their lives significantly more palatable. And of course, female equivalents of this admirable caregiver --- known as "therapy chicks" --- also exist; they, too, can be of any age, and provide warm-hearted accompaniment and supplementary assistance to fellow humans of any age or gender.
Therapy dudes sometimes have a very difficult/stressful job, but somebody has to do it. Hats off to them.

Tisquantum Physics

An advanced high-school/college class dealing with the more complex scientific theories of Native American culture.
Tisquantum Physics is a good subject to learn if you want to be come a learned medicine man.

body-surfer

1. A dude who "surfs" (either on the 'Net or at the beach) for cute chicks with great bodies.
2. A chick who offers her body to horny studs in exchange for their financial indulgences; she "rides the tide" (i.e., gleefully "glides on the crest" of her present lover's surplus savings) all the way into shore (i.e., to the point when the soft-skin-'n'-firm-flesh-craving dude's excess saving are eventually depleted by her wanton spending), then casually picks up her surfboard without even so much as a single backwards glance at her fiscally-attenuated ex-benefactor, and gracefully pirouettes off along the seashore of life in search of the next lonesome sucker sitting all by his lonesome on da beach of bachelorhood.
Financially-solvent hunks of any age should be wary of any hot chick who suddenly/unexpectedly comes onto him "with both barrels" and offers him a no-holds-barred good time, especially if he's not all that young or good-looking --- she may very likely just be a body-surfer.

Don Quick-Oats

The legendary pseudo-warrior of Quaker descent with an abnormal craving for pre-cooked dry cereal.
The history-books have it all wrong --- Don Quick-Oats wasn't mistaking everyday objects for monsters or other fierce enemies; he would charge windmills merely in the hope of scoring some of the tasty freshly-ground grain stored inside of them.

read up on it

What you may literally hafta do if you wanna learn Chinese --- some of their text is arranged in a vertical column that hasta be scanned from the bottom to the top in order to decipher it. Makes ya wonder how the Chinese don't get sore necks from all dat bobble-headed noddin' they do whenever they sit down to read da mornin' paper.
Learning how to make sense of all that fancy vertical signage in Chinatown is fairly simple --- just read up on it.

hedge fund

Not to be confused with grass money, this term refers to a separate financial account that a homeowner maintains to cover the costs of products/services to keep his shrubbery tidy and healthy.
Burglars tend to target properties with tall/dense shrubbery that they can crouch behind and hide, so you should always keep a healthy hedge fund to ensure that your bushes stay trimmed and transparent.
