grandmother approach

Where you bring an older lady along with you on a potentially-problematic endeavor, so that any observers will feel less concerned/suspicious.distrustful of you and what you are wanting to accomplish. P.S.: This strategy **always** works --- no exceptions.
I first discovered the grandmother approach --- and how wonderfully effective it is for "opening doors" --- merely by accident at age 15, when Mother and I went to meet one of my favorite radio-announcers "after hours" ; the announcer had kindly agreed to come down the elevator and meet me outside during her break, and so my mother and I had gone to wait outside the front doors of the building. A burly security-guard or maintenance-man subsequently happened by and pleasantly asked if he could help us; we explained that we were waiting for my announcer-friend to come and say hello to us. Without hesitation, he said, "Well, there's no need for you to have to wait outdoors here; I can let you in and you can go up to the studio to wait." I am sure, however, that if I had just been there by myself, the employee would not have felt nearly so confident or trusting of me that he would have actually just allowed me to effortlessly "waltz right in" like that; I realized that it was my super-respectable-looking mother's presence that had caused the man to "automatically" figure that "we were okay". I have employed this "bringing an older lady along" strategy several times in subsequent years whenever I have been concerned about possible negativity/suspicion from others regading something I'd wanted to do, and it has ALWAYS succeeded --- people everywhere feel an automatic compulsion to respect an older lady, plus of course they would not want to behave disagreeably in front of her.

acid-reflux

Refers to where you have to again apply (because the previous layer of said cleaner that you'd already spread on the joint accidentally got wiped off or contaminated) ferrous-metal-cleaning paste/fluid before using solid/acid-core solder to join non-electronic-type items, such as sheet-steel or piping.
Soldering is often cranky and tedious enough as it is, and so having to keep applying tinner's fluid is enough to give you acid-reflux from sheer frustration!

Puritan’s Pride

The infamous Salem, Massachusetts-based supplier of “natural & organic” foods and supplements that sold moldy aflatoxin-laced grain, the consumption of which caused insanity and paranoia in many of the town’s younger females, leading them to erroneously accuse a number of the harmless elderly women in the area of practicing black magic.
“Puritan’s Pride” is a fitting name for the company that helped to create the Salem witch-trials… those highfalutin closed-minded paranoid Puritans had way too much foolish pride for their own --- and even more importantly, that of those unfortunate elderly wretches whom they falsely convicted of witchcraft –-- good!

dueplicate

Fake/invalid bill for a debt dat's either already been settled or is not owed in da first place.
One should not automatically pay any and all "please remit" statements dat one receives --- instead, be sure to carefully examine each and every one for authenticity; there are lots of dueplicates out there!

Nope --- devious and undisciplined shyster dat he was, he did indeed rob Peter to obtain funds to pay Paul back, but then he used said stolen funds to just engage in more foolish spending (which of course is why he'd had to borrow money from Paul in da first place!). Shame on him.
One should be very wary of loaning money in any case, even if da requester says he needs da cash just to "pay back Paul" (i.e., to settle a debt he presently owes to someone else)... you should first research da requester's past performance in such matters; you will often discover dat some of his past loans were indeed supposedly earmarked for setting his debts with Paul, but he didn't actually pay Paul, though.

powerfulnalia

Accessories of heavy-duty build or capability.
If you use oversize roofing-spikes or other materials-securing "powerfulnalia" in a carpentry job, you'll need "powerfulnialia" --- i.e., a larger and more-robust pneumatic fastener-gun --- to drive said large-caliber brads.

earresponsible

Not listening to important things that you should be hearing in order for you to maintain a non-damaging-to-yourself-and/or-others status.
Ethan Couch's father foolishly close to just arbitrarily cater to his spoiled-rotten son's whiny blubbering instead of listening to reason when it came to following the local school's guidelines; he was so earresponsible, in fact, that he actually offered to buy the entire school just so that its officials would then have to treat his "little prince" in the preferentially-coddling fashion that he desired, rather than just being given the same ordinary respect and expectations that all of his fellow students were being issued.
