puffed-cheeks splutter

What a parent or other older relative of an "innocent child" does when said uninhibited youngster blurts out a clever "in yer face" remark/response that said grownup and other observers find shockingly amusing.
It's always amusing when someone performs an involuntary puffed-cheeks splutter, but it is even more hilarious if the person happens to be taking a drink of water o r other liquid at the time, resulting in an enormous :"geyser" followed by a long bout of hacky coughing.
The little-known "spouse state" next to the one which America's longest river is named after.
The similar-sized state that's "next-door" to Mississippi is Louisiana, so I wonder if Mr. Sippi's first name is "Louis"?

refugerator

A private/secret "comfort" area where you go to partake of tasty goodies to help you feel calmer, happier, etc.
According to Red Green, fellow Possum Lodge member Moose Thompson's appetite grew to such humongous proportions that he eventually renovated his house to remove all of his refugerators in favor of a walk-in meat-locker.

promiscory note

An agreement to spread your legs "freely" for someone who loans you money if you are unable to repay said loan after a designated length of time.
Da prob with a promiscory note, of course, is dat you have no guarantee dat da chick to whom you lent da money will keep her word about "letting you milk her", any more than you could count on her paying you back da money she borrowed.

promisery note

A contract that typically gives moderate-to-acute grief to one or both parties.
Lending money is never a good idea, but it can be especially painful between family and friends, since their promisery notes can create tension in their amicable feelings if things do not proceed exactly as planned.

Refers to the first recorded act of scandalous political misbehavior committed by an American government official; it involved George Washington and a hatchet.
The tale about "little Georgie" and his hatchet is actually a myth, but is makes a good story, nonetheless. It is known, however, that Washington was guilty of far more "treesonous" acts (like mistreating his slaves and wrongfully jailing farmers) than merely being irresponsible with his lumberjack skills.

Da country which comprised da major portion of da former USSR, where everyone is constantly in a "hurry 'n' flurry".
Classic "Rushia" joke from the '70's:
Jim: Tim, hurry up --- we're gonna be late!
Tim: I'm rushin', I'm rushin'!
Jim: That's strange --- I thought you were German.
