Murphy's Law of Foul-Weather Gear

"If you 'prepare for the worst' by bringing along extra jackets/gloves, an umbrella, etc., then the skies will be sunny and mild all the time you're 'out 'n' about'. But if you decide to leave all that stuff behind at home and set out on your trip in just your ordinary street-clothes, there'll be a bleepin' MONSOON or HURRICANE!
The morning started out kinda overcast and nippy, so I brought an umbrella, thick hoodie-jacket, and gloves with me when I set out to run some errands around town. Well, naturally, once I got a fair distance from home and thus I didn't wanna traipse all the way back to put everything away again, the sun came out and the day got really warm, and so I was just feverishly lugging all that extra stuff around with me for nothing... classic case of "Murphy's Law of Foul-Weather Gear", I guess.
The maturity-rating for "un-bleeped" camera-footage of adults whacking small dimpled white balls around over a grassy fairway.
It is downright appalling how so many seemingly-sensible and dignified grownups in neat elegant business-attire behave --- or rather, MISbehave --- the moment you put a golf club in their hands... it's no wonder that "raw" TV-coverage of said games often carries a PGA-13 rating!

unfairway

What a majority of golf players truly view their putting-green as being, since it seems hell-bent on making their shots travel anywhere but how/where they intend for them to go.
Bob Stuyvesant from the Red Green Show seems to view all golf courses as being unfairways, whereas in reality he is merely a horridly-lousy golfer who likely couldn't make a decent shot even if he had a completely-level playing-field with perfectly-even-height grass-blades.

Tiger Irons

The "heavy duty" evil twin to the famous pro-golf player.
Nobody wants to caddy for Tiger Irons, since all of his clubs are super-weighty metal-headed drivers --- no sissy wimpy "tree-fiber" drivers for HIM, thank you very much!

investment casting

A molding process whereby precious metals are melted down and formed into household items, sporting-goods, etc., enabling their buyers to be less "obvious" or "visible" in their acquisition of said valuable minerals than they would be if they simply purchased coins, bars, etc.
Two excellent examples of investment casting would be electrical/plumbing components and golf clubs, which can be formed from gold, silver, platinum, etc. and installed/stored in the investor's home without anyone's being the wiser.

gray lady/gray man

What you disgustedly see when viewing a profile or friendship-request for someone who either has cancelled his/her Tagged account or has not uploaded a photo, and so all that's there is a "generic" pale-sliver silhouette of a gal's or guy's head, with no facial-features or other identifying details at all.
I think that a lot of ghosts must be creating profiles on Tagged/hi5, since a lot of them merely have gray lady/gray man images, and the profiles "fade away and disappear" so readily and frequently.

boobie-trap

An over-da-shoulder boulder-holder dat "traps" Da Girls so dat dey don't just wobble and bounce around freely.
Gals in "civilized" countries often have bigger/heavier boobs, since they're always inside garments dat secure and "coddle" them, and this "protected environment" lets them "flourish 'n' mature" more, just the same as fruits or vegetables raised in a greenhouse usually get bigger than produce grown outdoors in the cold and wind. Ladies in tropical "topless" nations, however, just let their "girls" hang right out in the open, so they don't need to wear a boobie-trap 'cuz their titties generally stay fairly small and ultra-firm, and so they don't sway or wiggle around much, anyway.
