Lake Newfield

A large puddle that, according to legend, forms in front of Newfield High School in Middle Country Central School District after a downpour. Unfortunately, distressed student tears do not count as downpours. (If they did, we'd have a lot more space to swim.)

"Do you want to go swimming?"

1. (verb) To buck an object, often violently or suddenly, from one place to another.

2. (colloquial) An expression of excitement.

1a. Her gum is losing its flavor. If they can't pull over soon, she will have to yeet it out of the car window.

1b. Don't yeet his phone from him, or he will have to yeet it back.

2. "I got a hundred on the test," I exclaimed, "Yeet!"
