Umungo

A term of affection used in the building game for larger than life operatives, mainly those engaged in the more sedate tasks ie fork/dumper/wagon drivers
Big Pat: Dal mate, we need another pallet of bricks at Grove, and some scran lifting at Fanners.
Dal: no problem mate, I'll get Umungo to bounce round in the forks after brekkers.

Wheels

A more discreet way of referencing a man's testicles.
Dal: that was a proper sort you was with last night mate. Did you get any action?
Bazza: phwoarrr mate! No sooner had we got back from the boozer than she was noshing on my chopper and playing with my wheels.

Sepp

A word used to describe a bung, bribe, secret incentive. Commonly used in the construction industry by trades seeking favourable treatment by foremen/site agents.
Scaff: "Dal, I can strike those couple of towers for you on Saturday but I'll need an instruction. 6 herbs, 8hrs @ a pony an hour"

Dal: "thats a bit steep fella, never be able to slip it past the QS"
Scaff: " Sepp incoming"
Dal:"Consider it done"

Magic Carpet

Used to describe a short wheel based tipping lorry, commonly a Ford Transit Tipper 350 L2 RWD. Often used in the building game by jobbing builders for its flexibility and ability to carry materials and Herberts to/between jobs. Sometimes gets bad press due to its popularity amongst unscrupulous scrap metal merchants/tarmac contractors/members of the travelling community.
Big Pat: "Bazza, I need you to collect the scran at Fanners and bring it back to base. Umungo's on his way over there now with the forks".
Bazza: "No worries Pat, I'll set off now in the magic carpet once I've topped it up with squirt".

Squirt

Codename for red/agricultural diesel, commonly used when referring to refueling a vehicle required by law to run only on clear diesel/DERV.
Dal: "Pat, can you fill the magic carpet with squirt mate. I've just finished a squirrel and I need to clean up some swarf before I collect the kipling"

Kipling

As in Mr Kipling, purveyor of fine cake(s). Cake being slang for money, specifically cash. The term Kipling is commonly used when communicating with business associates via text or telecon, notably to conceal the fact that certain works may be paid via cash as opposed to putting "through the books".
Bazza: Dal, I've finished clearing the scran off the roof tiles with the cherry picker.
Dal: Good boy, I'll see you at the weekend with the kipling.

magindal

A word which can be used as a substitute for any other word when wishing not to reveal the exact nature of a conversation with an associate. Typically when the mrs is within earshot or referring to a product or contraband substance via text.
Dal: Oi Bazza, I've got the magindal in the back of the limo. Can you meet me at Grove in an hour?
Bazza: you know that groom.
