When somebody casually snaps a photo with no intention or motivation of getting it to look perfect, but it turns out to be absolutely perfect in every way. From the lighting to the angle, it's all perfect by pure chance.

Get the Serendipitous snapmug. When somebody on the internet starts trolling in a comment thread, it often elicits more people to come and troll (for the lulz). The larger the "troll train", the more trolls it will attract. This is known as the troll effect.

I've noticed that many companies like to give away free Sirius XM subscriptions in exchange for trying out their products/services. But unless you're into classic rock or sports, it's worth absolutely nothing for those that fall outside its main demographic. Don't even think about trying it. Just use Spotify or Tidal.

Unfortunately nowadays this term is often abused as an "argument stopper", where somebody calls someone a troll just because his/her viewpoint does not align with theirs, or that they refuse to believe what they said was true. That is not unwarranted per se, especially if the person unironically said something so stupid or misguided (e.g. earth is flat), but even a person with a reasonable point or who is telling the truth could be labelled a troll.
