deranged loser

An expression of the utmost dignity and grace, not to be mistaken for projection when used to characterize a perceived enemy.
“I don’t know what Kellyanne did to her deranged loser of a husband,” the president tweeted, “but it must have been really bad.”

99-43-28

The number of days it took the Unites States to add one million cases of coronavirus to its total - 99 for the first million, 43 for the second, 28 for the third million, the fruits of heedlessly 're-opening'.
He stared at the numbers. 99-43-28. Not a football play. Not the combination of a safe. It was exponential, viral spread of the disease. And he understood that this is what viral' means, and that they could reasonably expect another million to accrue in the next two weeks or so.

Pharmageddon

Massive loss and suffering, resulting from potential failure to develop a vaccine against Covid-19.
As the hopes of the world were focused on Big Pharma, the dates kept getting pushed back - probably October, maybe by the end of the year, sometime in 2022, well, the virus keeps mutating, so... - the number of infections and deaths mounted, and it came to be seen as Pharmageddon.

Psychological-Science-Fiction.

A dominant movie genre, when movies get made again, looking back at the meltdown of human life on earth in 2020.
"It's classic Sci-Psy. Totally. One guy, he's a shrink. With a gun. Alone in New York! Humans are afraid to breathe, afraid of each other, dying by the millions! A fucking game show host is stoking race war, there's nobody in charge, everyone is going insane and pretending to be ok! The one lone guy has two days to save the planet. It's called "How Does That Make You Feel?"

hystereophonic

State-of-the-art sound quality of conservative talk radio.
She closed her eyes to get the full hystereophonic effect of Rush Limbaugh, fuming that Black Lives Matter is a 'hate symbol', that wearing masks is a liberal conspiracy to rig the election, that the very stable genius was sent by God.

Scars and Stripes Forever

In 2020, a patriotic march for a wounded nation.

A version of Stars and Stripes Forever, a piece which in show business was historically called "the Disaster March". When theaters and circuses had house bands, this march was a code signaling a life-threatening emergency. Except for impending disaster, circus bands never played the tune under any circumstances
July 4th approaching, feeling America at a moment of life-threatening disaster, he found himself whistling Scars and Stripes Forever, hoping it would not be forever, that our national fortunes would improve.
Before Covid.

Going forward, a designation of time.
The movie is from 2019 BC. Strangers are smiling at each other. The guy kisses the girl... on a date!
