religious persuasion 

(n.) Ones' religion, that one was persuaded into belief of by man or miracle. Usually refering to the denomination as opposed to the actual religion.
I am a Christian, of the catholic persuasion, and will defend my beliefs against anyone who challenges them, unless thier misinterpretation is so great, that they should simply DIE, which rules out most people who talk about contradictions in the bible and other claptrap.

Belgrano 

(n.) Argentinian cruiser the General Belgrano was the first ship ever to be sunk by a nuclear sub during wartime. It was sunk in the early stages of the Falklands war by British HMS conqueror. It was origianally the US navy's "Phoenix" World war II ship, now sold to argentina.


The HMS conqueror fired six torpedoes, two of which hit directly. The first instantly killed 275 argentines sailors, the second ripping off 15 feet of the hull, dooming the ship.
over 700 of the Belgrano's crew were saved, out of 1,138.

c'est la vie 

(Idiom) Literally translated, means "It is the life". Better translations lead to "That's life" or "it's life". Basically shut up and get over it, used as a puit down. The best retort to this is "C'est la guerre", which means "This is war".

Many of the things said about Arnold in the run up to his campaign for governator were qoutes said in context, such as his admiration for Hitler. he said he admired the control Hitler had over people. The faggots claim he is a nazi, when in fact, anyone can admire this.
