SudsPhobia

A prejudice, no gender, culture, or socioeconomic demographic is exempt, against an individual who is suffering from a any form of Substance Use Disorders, which I abbreviate to SUDs.

My daughter, Jessica, who now has a posthumous CBC documentary about her and her partner’s journey with SUDs titled “Jessica’s Secret”, was treated by many who did not understand her illness with sudsphobia.

Acronym for anyone with Chronic Substance Use Disorder.

My daughter’s partner is one of the less than 1 % of persons inflicted with CSUDs that has now been in remission for over 2.5 years.

Acronym for a person with Substance Use Disorders

Both my daughter and her partner’s journey with SUDs can be viewed online by typing in CBC Jessica’s Secret - both are examples of the 1% extremes - Jess is dead and her partner is alive and in remission 2.5 years.
