Overly serious cyclists. These people can be seen on racers, sometimes in packs. So called because of their penchant for wearing spandex shorts and tops while cycling around. The Spandex Brigade are known for their flagrant disregard for traffic lights, signalling, one way systems and a plethora of other traffic laws they feel they are above.
I was trying to cross at a set of traffic lights in the city and nearly got run over by the Spandex Brigade as they ran through a series of red lights.

Used to refer to those born after around 1994 and hit their teens in the late 00s/early 2010s. A generation who cannot remember a world without One Direction, Justin Bieber, Twitter and music talent shows. This particular generation can be seen wearing skinny jeans and wide-brimmed baseball caps with androgynous haircuts and often use phrases such as YOLO and swag ad nauseum along with hashtags. Are often heard playing the latest dubstep from their smartphones as if that was a good thing.

When someone becomes despite (or because of) a lack of skill, talent or ability. Usually the result of a sex tape or an Instagram account filled with selfies. Named for Kim Kardashian, who was by no means the first person to achieve fame this way, but certainly one of the most infamous.
Starla was hoping to undergo the Kardashian Effect by posting 400 selfies per day.

When a something, usually a meme or an attempt at a viral trend, has been done before. Heavily used in Simpsons meme groups.

Named for George Harrison. Specifically for his Simpsons cameo where he passes Moe's bar and, upon seeing the B-Sharps performing a one time reunion performance on the roof, states "It's been done."
