Crazy Son of a Bitch
Related to asshole and son of a bitch, a crazy son of a bitch is someone who you may admire but do not want to be like. They may do awesome things but it could be at the expense of their health, wallet and relationships. Likely to streak a party, attempt parkour, approach the unapproachable, pull off dangerous flight tactics and other arrangements of impractical services to attain fun, avoid, divert, gain attention or kill the enemy without the influence of narcotics and at other times with.

Al Gore
The term Al Gore is taken from the actually person, Al Gore who was a former USA Vice-president, a USA Presidential Candidate and most recently produced An Inconvenient Truth (Documentary on Global Warming).
To use Al Gore as a term, it's mainly to indicate that someone who thinks they're going to win or have a chance doesn't actually. Just like Al Gore in the Presidential Election Race, he thought he had a chance but in reality, George W. Bush was never going to lose.
