Kitsch Palace
Kitsch Palace
A home full of stuff that is colourful, nostalgic clutter and rare collectibles.
A creative headquarter, hub or laboratory.

Welcome to my Kitsch Palace where great ideas originate.
We were cooking up some fresh sounds and fierce looks at The Kitsch Palace.
Presenting the underground superstars of The Kitsch Palace
They spilled out of the Kitsch Palace to throw some fierce moves down at the annual Vogue Ball.
A clan of Alter Egos crept out of The Kitsch Palace to rock and shock the art world at The Venice Biennale D'Arte.

Gurbanuru
An Urban Guru.
An inspiring person with good advice and an objective opinion, also with few airs and graces.
Usually in the yogic sense but also adaptable to cultural experts or humanitarians.
Usually slightly older as it takes time and experience to become a Gurbanuru.

On the way home I bumped into a Gurbanuru on the subway...this totally random person who gave me incredible advice on love and relationships.
A Gurbanuru knows what the world we live in is really like and has a good balance of enlightenment and practically; also a good understanding of popular culture.
Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Shakti Mhi, David Sye, Terry McBride, Douglas Coupland, William Gibson and many others..

low-fi
Checkout my latest low-fi music video on youtube.
I've been playing around with a drum machine and some broken old toy instruments to create a very low-fi sound.
Low-fi means more inventiveness and less pressure.
I'm putting together a last minute low-fi multi-media gig for SXSW- you never know who might show up.

pop-culture sponge
A person who soaks-up popular culture like a sponge.
Absorbing trends and styles wherever you are then rinsing them out to keep only the things you really like.
Aesthetically aware and sensitive.

A cool-hunter is actually another name for a professional pop-culture sponge.
A pop-culture sponge, soaks up the styles and trends wherever he/she go.
When you pay attention to and absorb your surroundings from a cultural point of view you are literally a pop-culture sponge...just make sure you digest and wring out the things you dont need and dont want to keep.
