Alabama

The Football capital of the world. Alabama is a Southern State known for its University of Alabama and Auburn University. You’re either a Crimson Tide fan or an Aubie fan, you can’t like both! Alabama is constantly bombarded by typical Southern stereotypes when in fact it is actually a pretty nice state! Alabama also refers to University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Tennessee

Tennessee is basically 3 states: West Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and East Tennessee.
West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee are more culturally Southern, East Tennessee is culturally Appalachian. Tennessee is known for music! Unlike the popular belief, Tennessee isn’t just known for country music. Tennessee is also known for Americana, folk, alternatives, Soul, Blue, Rock and Roll, and Bluegrass! Nashville is more than just country music (especially East Nashville). Although Nashville is the buckle of the Bible Belt, it’s not all filled with bible-thumping folks. Biggest cities in Tennessee are: Memphis, Nashville, Clarksville, Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Franklin, Jackson, Knoxville, and Johnson City. Tennessee’s State song is Rocky Top, and its nickname is the Volunteer State.

UCR

Stands for UC Riverside. Although it’s part of the UC System, its educationa quality is worst than majority of the universities in the UC system and outside of UC system. Let’s put it this way, if you got accepted to University of Kentucky in Lexington and UC Riverside, choose Kentucky! UC Riverside is ranked worst than University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee, University of Oklahoma, University of Kansas, West Virginia University, University of North Carolina, Alabama,...

UCR, even though its mascot is the highlanders, it’s more Hispanic/ Latino Thanh Scottish.

heartland rock

A sub genre of rock music originated in the Midwest. Characterized by light and semi-twangy guitar riffs, this genre is dedicated to mostly blue-collar workers and average folks from Middle America (Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Indiana, ...) ex: Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, Tom Petty,...

Heartland rock is probably the most easy-listening sub genre of rock music, and it is also the epitome of American pride and small town pride, which is similar to Country music and Southern Rock.

Bob: I live and die in the heartland, and ain't nothing beat the music where I'm from.

Bill: what type of music do your folks listen to?

Bob: my folks only listen to one thing, and it is heartland rock.

California

One of the rich people's paradises! The only state that has more Targets than Walmarts. California's geography is extremely diverse. Northern California is mostly forests, farmlands, and mountains. Southern California is mostly cities, valley, mesa, deserts, and beach towns. The Bay Area is mostly cities, robots, and wine.

I love California, but it's too expensive!

Lake Elsinore

Basically the Alabama of California, except it has way more Mexicans. It is known as the meth capital of the Inland Empire. Also, the lake here stinks. Legend said that there is a monster living in that lake, but the lake is so bad, highly doubt anything would live down there.
