(often called "unmoving plaid") An animation technique popularized by the cartoon Chowder where a character’s clothing texture stays completely still while the character moves underneath it. Instead of the fabric moving with the body, the character appears to “slide” through a fixed pattern—like plaid or stripes—creating a surreal, window-like or wormhole effect.

Meaning “Away From Switch.” It’s used to indicate that someone is temporarily stepping away from their Nintendo Switch console. It’s the Switch equivalent of saying “AFK” (Away From Keyboard), but specifically tailored to the Nintendo ecosystem.

A term from theater conduct describing a modern, low-effort form of audience discipline using a laser pointer to stop phone usage.

What used to require a full production crew and a helicopter can now be done by one person with a backpack and a controller. This is associated with epic vacation videos, YouTube intros, and that one friend who insists on filming every hangout from 50 feet in the air.

Jesus nut
The critical bolt or nut in a helicopter that holds the main rotor in place. If it fails or detaches mid-flight, the copter comes crashing down very fast and everyone inside goes straight to Jesus!
