REmake

Resident Evil remake on Nintendo GameCube, hence the "RE" being capatilazied, which stands for Resident Evil, and "remake", meaning it's a remade game.
REmake is a lot different than its original predecessor, Resident Evil on PlayStation. It features a redone voice cast, dialogue, Crimson Skulls, better graphics and sound, and new areas. Thus, it is also different from a port.

Chompweed

Those little walking Pirhana-Plant-like things in the Mario series. Although the term "Chompweed" was first coined in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, it is save to assume that they are the same creatures that appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, where instead of being white, they were black and they sat in one place. You needed either Kuribo's Shoe or Yoshi to cross them.
Chompweeds can harm you in the Mario games. In Super Mario RPG, however, they steal your coins. Little bastards.

IMO

Stands for "In My Opinon". The most insecure way to state your opinion. Used by those afraid to get into a big argument with someone who disagrees with them.
Using IMO makes you a pansy of the internet message boards. If someone barks back at you for stating it as a fact, let them. If they don't understand that it's an opinion, that's their problem.
