Anyone, but typically a teenager, who eats desserts and comfort foods down to the last couple of bites (the snurgle) and leaves the almost empty containers in the fridge or freezer.
So much for ice cream for dessert, the Snurgle has eaten all three quarts down the the snurgle.

Snurglary 

The act of getting up in the middle of the night and sneaking into the kitchen to raid the dessert and comfort foods, eating them down to the last few bites, before any else has a chance to have some.
We, and all of our friends, are experiencing an epidemic of snurglary in our houses. This morning, the dozen box of doughnuts I brought home last night was lying empty on the floor when my wife and I came downstairs.

snurglary

Every time we buy ice cream, we have to try to hide it from our teenager's practice of snurglary.

A teenager who gets up in the middle of the night to stealthily eat all the "comfort food" and deserts in the fridge down to the last small bites.
