Shortline 

A Coach USA bus company that provides service from throughout Upstate NY. Good service with very nice buses, except when they are so busy that they need to borrow lots of uncomfortable buses from sister Coach USA company Suburban.

Over the summer, I took the Shortline and it was really nice. I tried to take it again for Thanksgiving but ended up on an uncomfortable Suburban instead.

Suburban 

A Coach USA company that buys lots of uncomfortable buses from Van Hool, then uses them to operate the long routes normally operated by Shortline when there are too many college students trying to travel for Shortline to accommodate them all.

After being stuck on Suburban buses for hours twice in one week at Thanksgiving, I think I want to take OurBus next Thanksgiving.

Van Hool 

A company that thinks they're good at making coach buses but doesn't realize that most people haven't had a leg amputated.

After several hours on a Van Hool coach bus, my left leg was sore from not being able to stretch properly that whole time.

The crocodile that let Pippa the dog bother it for 10 whole years before finally deciding to eat Pippa, despite the fact that she could have eaten Pippa at any time during those 10 years.

It took Casey the crocodile 10 whole years to learn to stand her ground.
