A twist on book title “Beyond the Looking Glass,” the term refers to the reflection of the camera flash that occurs when someone takes a self portrait while holding the camera up in the mirror. The flash reflects off the mirror and becomes the dominant subject. These cliché self-portraits are used excessively on social networking profiles.
Alice tried to take a picture of herself in the mirror, but only ended up with another Looking Flash.

Get the Looking Flashmug. A combination of "polite" and "poseur," a Polseur is a person who acts overly nice to others when they do not really mean it. The worst type of Polseur is a woman who acts too nice to a man, thus leading him on.
After Joe was rejected by Mary, he realized she was nothing more than a Polseur for exuding artificial niceness to him.

Get the Lipshitmug. A man who abandons a woman he impregnated. Named after the character Mike Damone from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. After impregnating the character Stacy, he first promises to help pay for an abortion but later reneges.
Stacy found out the hard way that Mike was nothing more than a Damone when he bailed on her after knocking her up.
