From the world of pro wrestling, it means to fool someone into thinking that something is real when it's not.

The U.S. landing on the moon was a work means that a person doesn't believe that the U.S. actually landed on the moon.

gimmick

Very similar to deal, it's a word with a nearly infinite number of meanings. Sometimes it's used in reference to prescription medication (particularly Viagra).

Pop a couple of gimmicks and you'll be right where you need to be.

A prank, a joke or even a practical joke.

We hid his car keys as a rib would mean that it was done in joking, prank-like fashion.

meltdown

(n.) - an act brought about by loss of temper or anger. (v.) - to lose control.

Jimmy had a meltdown over the last piece of pizza.

drops

The doling out of those that have screwed up big; i.e. dropping the ball on something. The opposite of props.

I've got to give him drops, he totally screwed up the paint on that car.

Nickname for the prescription drug Viagra.

Take a blue genie and call me in the morning.

Block Rocker

Description of a large (i.e. fat), unattractive or otherwise unsavory woman.

Now she's a real block rocker. -or- She's a solid block rockin' whore is an example of the phrase used in adjective form.
