rockland

A suburban county north of NYC. It's no more upstate then Westchester yet people feel the need to bash it as a "wasteland" near Albany in a futile attempt to make their own hometown feel important. Unlike surrounding areas, the people of Rockland are not arrogant and condescending.

I can hop on the Palisades and get to Midtown in 30 minutes from Orangetown, a lot closer than many of you Rockland-bashers from Westchester and LI.

In the online game known as Infantry Online, owned by Sony Online Entertainment, Perm Ban is a form of punishment which length is inversely related to the severity of the offense.

IE. Itchymeek(owns) has been Perm Banned for one day for hacking.

Me5 has been Perm Banned forever for posting ascii porn on the forums.

Bubba has been Perm Banned forever for allowing Me5 to post on the forums with his account.

marietta

A small southeastern Ohio town, was the first settlement in the Northwest Territory. Named for french queen Marie Antoinette. Colonel Dean Hess a World War II hero was born in Marietta and Rock Hudson portrayed him in the film "Battle Hymn" which had it's world premier in Marietta. Current population is around 15,000 people.

I have been to Marietta many times, it is nice.
