real world

One reason why MTV has gone down the toilet. Basically, Real World is just another boring "reality TV" show.

Nowadays, MTV devotes at least 8 hours of its day to Real World marathons/reruns.

Bass

A low-frequency sound or instrument which is used to enhance music or provide some sort of musical ground. Most modern music uses electronically-generated bass synths, while traditionally-created music uses low-frequency instruments for the bass.

Bass can also be referred to an audio setting that makes the low frequencies of a song more pronounced.

The bass was set so high the stereo speakers got fried when the next song began to play.

KFC

Kentucky Fried Chicken

The name of a popular fast food restaurant, established by some guy named Colonel Sanders, that specializes in fried and broiled chicken products. An ideal place to contract salmonella, E. coli, and other potentially deadly food-borne illnesses.

Nobody needs a little KFC because they don't do their chicken right.

Roadkill

A cruel example of Darwinism in action. The animals that are either slow to move, or weak, or previously injured, or otherwise stupid enough to just stand there are weeded out by speeding motorists, and those who survive crossing the roads live to breed offspring that are more likely to get out of the way when an SUV driver on a cellphone hits the gas pedal.

Roadkill is comprised mostly of rodents, turtles, deer. The rest is composed of domestic animals bred for aesthetics.
