1. (v): Bringing up esoteric hypothetical situations when everyone else agrees on the conversation point

2. (v): To be obstinate in every way, or simply respond 'nope' to an extremely reasonable suggestion

Feathering It 

1.) When you are a cool guy, who knows what’s up, and you just seem to never stop (possibly due to drugs or mental illness).

2.) Cutting your hair with fire.
First Example -
News: Local Florida man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after throwing an alligator threw Wendy’s drive-thru window.

Reader: Man he’s just feathering it.

Second Example-
Tom: Dr. Drew looks really good!
Christina: Well, he has been feathering it!

veal-fattening pen

A veal fattening pen is a work environment where the employee sits within a cube farm. In addition to the inconvenience of having no privacy in the veal-fattening pen, a whole series of specialized organizational products will now require purchase or you'll have no place to put your gear. i.e. T-pins instead of push-pins and so on. Fetzering 

Noun: 1. The act of making an unfounded or unsubstantiated claim.
2. In philosophy, a method of debate or discussion based of the premise of: I think, therefore I am. I think you're wrong. therefore you are.
3. The act of disagreeing by employing rancor, name calling, ad hominem attacks or straw man argument.

Etymology: Fetzering began in earnest in the late 1960's, being implemented by a JFK conspiracy theorist and has since expanded it's use in the 9/11 debate arena.
1. Without evidence your claim is simple fetzering.

2. He should rely on his data instead of fetzering.
