yoshi's island

Arguably the best Nintendo game ever. First released in 1995 for the SNES as a sequel to Super Mario World, it has ever since been a cult hit, and has spawned two sequels, "Yoshi's Island DS" (2006), and the most recent one, "Yoshi's New Island" (2014). It's even rereleased for the Game Boy Advance, along with "Mario Bros.", in "Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3". Yoshi's Island is about a specialized green dinosaur (Yoshi) trying to get Baby Mario to reunite with his brother to go home. It has the greatest gameplay, music, and graphics of any Nintendo game. "Yoshi's Story" is a prequel, and "Yoshi Topsy-Turvy (Universal Gravitation)" and "Yoshi Touch & Go" are spin-offs of the Yoshi's Island era (The first three games in the Yoshi series, which are two puzzles and a shooter, are released before Yoshi's Island came out and changed the series). Nothing can ever beat the first Yoshi's Island, not even Minecraft or FIFA 14.
Touch fuzzy, get dizzy.

Yoshi's Island is better than Minecraft, Call of Duty, and Battlefield combined!

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
