Filler word

A word used to make up for gaps in conversation, when the speaker is not certain what they want to say next. Can be very annoying if used excessively.

Prime examples include: er, um, erm, and uh
Person 1: What's a black hole?
Person 2: Black holes are...um...they're uh...black holes, they...erm...er...
Person 1: You have no fucking clue, do you? You're just using filler words now.

Filler word

They're, like, some words you uh... you throw them in when you don't know what to say. Used in the middle of sentences when... um... you're trying to think of a point. Common examples are "uh," "um," and "like." Overuse of them can, like, totally ruin the tone of sentences and make you look weird.
So, uh... this is the part where I, like, put a sentence that uses filler words... um... I can't really think of anything.

wordfilter

A word filter is, as the name implies, a filter for words. Various websites too fucking pussy to use proper internets english will use these strange devices to change one word into another. Example: faggot->homosexual, rape->tenderly caress, etc. Other websites (ie those that do not suck) will use them for more humorous purposes. 7chan is a prolific user of these, changing all manner of words for no real reason. For example, faggot filters to spider expert, while god filters to Bob Ross. Also known as cheesegraters.

wordfilterowned

The term 'wordfilterowned' is used on chat-boards such as 4chan and 7chan, where word filters have been implemented to mess with the words. For example fail gets word-filtered to win, and girlfriend gets wordfiltered to boyfriend. 'wordfilterowned' is when a poster's entire message is corrupted due to wordfilters.
you have been wordfilterowned, lol

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
