Brett - I ended up staying up all night Friday
MoJo - What else?
Brett - We watched some gay movie
MoJo - Cool. What else?
Brett - nothing much, I'm tired today
MoJo - Hmmmm. What else?

What you say when hearing old news, when something bad but predictable happens to you or when someone brings up something that's long lost its novelty.
Guy 1: "They're out of your favourite coffee."
You: "What else is new?"
Guy 2: "Life sucks."
You: "Yeah, what else is new."
Guy 3: "Pain really hurts."
You: (Just gives him a glance that says "what else is new".) But if he really is stupid enough to make a statement like that, maybe you should have said it in words.

A sarcastic phrase referring to an altogether predictable and meh revelation, literally meaning - so do you have something else that's real news?

This is used to prevent the awkward moment when you have nothing else to say in a conversation. But this makes the conversation more awkward.
Guy: I watched source code yesterday.
Girl: Oh. How did you like the movie?
Guy: It was great.
Girl: Nice.
Guy: So.....what else?
Girl:.........................

A line used when letting a girl go and expecting her to not get upset. This is usually a last-ditch effort when breaking up with your girlfriend. This should be reserved for relationships that do not involve: 1.) A girlfriend that held a career as a model; 2.) A girlfriend with a large trust fund; 3.) The first girlfriend that actually seems to care about you.
