Vubbing (portmanteau of ‘voice over’ and dubbing) is the use of generative AI to digitally alter lip and facial movements to match different translations of a film’s dialogue track.
The studio wanted a PG-13 rating so the editors used vubbing to remove a lot of the profanity in post-production.

The film is vubbed, that’s why the voiceover looks seamless even though the actors originally spoke Japanese..

Vubble is a term coined, or at least popularized, in the Murder Drones community (particularly within the Murder Drones Discord sever). The word is formed from merging "V" and "bubble", hence why "vubble".

V is a character from the indie animated show on youtube called Murder Drones. And vubbles refers to the scene where she blows bubbles.

Most of the time, it is related to a sticker depicting the said scene of her and somehow got popular enough that some idiot even got to create a whole Discord server centered around it.
